Casinos en Cancun ! Hardly is there any other region in Mexico that attracts tourist like Cancun. It is on record that over three million tourists visit Cancun yearly for various fantastic amenities. It was marked out for development in 1960 by the Mexican government who saw the potential for the mother of all resort in the regions. Now Cancun is synonymous with Spring Break, but it is much more than a party town. The main beach in this region is seven-shaped and going down the east side of this magnificent beach are shops. Also restaurants, malls, clubs, and huge Maya-inspired hotels.
Just about every kind of water sport is available in Cancun. Here you can find parasailing, water skiing, and scuba diving or better still if you are interested in sports fishing. You could go to the outer Caribbean for dorado, sailfish, grouper, marlin, wahoo, and bluefin tuna.
With the average temperature rising as high as 80°F in Cancun and more than 240 days of sunshine. Rain is rare, with late August through November being the rainy season. To say Cancun Mexico is one of the top tourist destinations in the world and number 1 vacation destination in the Caribbean is an understatement. For casino lovers, there are casinos en Cancun. You can find it little larger and slightly glamorous but you should not look forward to Vegas-styled casinos. This list of casinos will not include PlayCity and Playboy Casino as they both closed. All the casinos listed here are located in the downtown of Cancun and not in the Hotel Zone.
Dubai Palace Casino
No doubt, this is one of the largest casinos en Cancun with over four-hundred slot machines. The casino is located on Avenida Tulum just south of the Plaza Las Americas Mall on the south end of Cancun as you exit the city. The casino is open 24 hours a day. and If you come through Playa Del Carmen you can tell the colectivos (cab drivers) and they will let you off almost in front of this casino.
The Grand Oasis Casinos en Cancun
This lofty resort casino opened its doors in April 2017. Also called the Red Casino you can try your hand at games of blackjack, roulette, and poker, or test your luck on a variety of slot machines. If there’s a big game you don’t want to miss, you can catch it on one of the large screen TVs.
Casino Palace
This is another state of the art casinos en Cancun. Also located on Avenida Tulum just north of the Plaza Las Americas Mall, the casino has sports betting and video machine blackjack and roulette. The facility is spread over two floors with slots and televised sporting events occupying the lower floor. Upstairs is a rather chic games room where roulette, blackjack, and poker can be played.
Since these casinos are some of the most popular in Cancun, anytime you are there, expect to encounter a fairly large crowd. If you don’t want to encounter a crowd, you may go to Tequila Barrel, which is not a casino but sports betting bar.
Though they are not a Vegas-styled large casino, most of the gambling is slot machines and you may not be allowed entry if you are 18+
If you go, make sure you take along Mexican pesos and any standard or recognized means of identification.
